Ned Reber

Studio Founder

He began his training in 1980 and he has been involved in martial arts training ever since.  As a decorated US Army 101st Airborne veteran he served overseas involved in various counter terrorism activities giving him firsthand experience in martial arts applications while continuing to train.  After returning to America training in Kun Tao, under the founder of Red Dragon’s instructor Master Guy Savelli, earned him his Master’s rank in the art.  His training has also earned him black belts in Judo, Shotokan Karate, Aiki Jujitsu, and Kendo in addition to his rank in Red Dragon.   During his training he also served as a police officer in the Los Angeles area provided further firsthand experience.  The breadth of his experience ultimately lead him to developing the Instructor College Program responsible for certifying hundreds of instructors around the country for over twenty years. Promoted to the rank of Shihan by the founder of Red Dragon he continues to train, teach, and innovate. His position with students has always been that he does not want them to be as good as he is; he wants them to be better!

Mason Reber

Managing Owner

He has very literally grown up in the dojo.  With his father, ShiHan Reber, as the owner of the dojo he has been training since he was two years old.  At this point he cannot even remember a time before he was training.  Like Mr. Miyagi, his dad was always incorporating training into his daily life.  Now it has become something he loves that is so much a part of him that he cannot imagine a time when he will not be teaching and training.  Some people are sheep, others wolves, and a few are the sheep dog protecting the flock; this now famous phrase defines his character.  With no tolerance for predators he has been protecting others from bullies since he was in elementary school.  Having interceded in multiple altercations throughout his education he has been praised and acknowledged by teachers and administrators for protecting those being preyed upon.  He serves as a role model for what it means to be a martial artist today and now as the youngest studio owner in Red Dragon history, he is ready to share his passion and serve as a role model for the next generation of martial artists.

Megan Baker

Customer Relations

A California school teacher, she began her martial arts training looking through a different lens.  Already well versed in academic teaching methods she found in the martial arts a new path.  As she trained she was transformed and came out of her shell From an insecure young women to a strong and self empowered leader she is now inspired to make that same impact in others.  Her college degree focused on early childhood development so as an instructor she knew the impact she could make in this new calling.  Instead of teaching academics alone in the martial arts she helps students develop the skills necessary to succeed.  Now she also ahas the opportunity to work with students over the course of years providing them with the mentorship needed to succeed while they develop self defense skills.  Those same skills ensure her students will never be a helpless victim to the predators in our world, a mission she is passionate about pursuing.  Now as an instructor she brings together the skills of an academic teacher with those of a martial arts instructor to serve her students.
